My alternative Film Poster Design for the 2019 film 'Portrait of a Lady on Fire'.

I was very moved by this film, and immediately wanted to create a poster after watching it! There are so many close ups of the painting process, so I wanted to keep it painterly and capture the light in the scene depicted. All the shots in the film are so beautiful - it was hard to pick one.

My winning design for the ‘Little White Lies’ creative brief. The challenge was to design a film poster for the release of Netflix’s ‘Rebecca’ that was bold, completely original and classically styled.

For this design I used lots of reference from 1930s film posters, the colour palette from the Netflix trailer and my knowledge of the original novel by Daphne du Maurier (which is one of my favourites!)

My design for the front and back cover of Neil Gaiman’s novel ‘Stardust’. This design incorporates elements from the story such as the Babylon Candle - which can teleport characters from one location to another and the Glass Snowdrop - that grants protection to one of the main characters in the book.
